RECENTLY CONCLUDED:

  • Speaker, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 as part of Pomegranate Studio’s SEEDs (Self-Esteem, Empowerment and Education through Dance) Youth Mentorship Program for Santa Fe, NM girls, ages 13 – 17.
  • Fall 2014 Adjunct Faculty Instructor/Santa Fe Community College: Family Law.
  • Attended the Women’s International Study Center (WISC)-hosted 2-day Symposium in Santa Fe, NM on August 15-16, 2014 on women’s challenges, accomplishments and opportunities from a multi-disciplinary, inter-generational, and global perspective. The keynote speaker was U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
  • Panel presentation on Saturday, July 19, 2014 with Prof. Max Minzner of UNM Law School and 2 other members of the State Bar of New Mexico Law Practice Management Committee (James L. Cook, Esq. and Dena Wurman, Esq.) at the State Bar of New Mexico’s 2014 Annual Meeting. We presented Justice at Stake: Building New Practices in the Changing Legal Market, continuing our discussion of the previous year of the impact of current and imminent changes in the provisioning of legal services.
  • Volunteered at a free consumer law clinic held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Mary Esther Gonzales Senior Center, 1121 Alto Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., presented by the 1st Judicial District Access to Justice Committee.
  • Co-Moderator Discussion Forum, Online Communications and Trust, Cyberweek 2013 hosted by The Werner Institute at Creighton University’s School of Law (Fall 2013).
  • Volunteered at a free consumer law clinic held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Mary Esther Gonzales Senior Center, 1121 Alto Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.,  presented by the 1st Judicial District Access to Justice Committee.
  • Panel presentation on Friday, June 28, 2013 with 2 other members of the State Bar of New Mexico Law Practice Management Committee ( Ian Bezpalko, Esq. and James L. Cook, Esq.) at the State Bar of New Mexico’s 2013 Annual Meeting. We presented The Changing Law Practice: Work Smarter Not Harder, discussing the impact of current and imminent changes in the provisioning of legal services.
  • Trainer, Friday, June 7, 2013, of a 2-hour training segment entitled The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Its Applicability in Mediation, within NM Highlands University’s (Las Vegas campus) 40-hour basic mediation skills training course sponsored by the School of Social Work.
  • Panel presentation on Friday, June 7, 2013 with other private practice mediators (Philip Crump, Martin Dominguez, Gini Nelson, Debra Oliver) at NM Highlands University’s (Las Vegas campus) 40-hour basic mediation skills training course sponsored by the School of Social Work.  We presented What Can Be Done With Mediation Skills.
  • Attended Summit of Leaders, February 24 – 25, 2013 following the Second Annual Lawyers as Peacemakers & Healers Conference at Phoenix School of Law, on the Comprehensive Law/Integrative Law Movement held February 22 – 24, 2013.
